Freeland Powel is a country music duo based in the greater Seattle area. Core members Collette Freeland and Jeffrey Powel have been joined by a number of musical friends over the years who have helped create their unique sound: classic country storytelling with a modern feel.

Collette Freeland

Collette Freeland (Adrienne Denges) is a country singer-songwriter based in the Pacific Northwest. Having been singing since the age of three and writing music since age 12, Collette now aspires to create & perform original works that offer a fresh take on classic country storytelling. Collette rotates between acoustic rhythm guitar and bass in the Freeland Powel group.

Jeffrey Powel, Ph.D

Jeff Powel is a gifted songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and engineer. He founded Dogfish Bay Studios in 2008, and has been turning out great music across a range of genres over the years following. Creating alongside fellow musicians has brought Jeff great joy from a very early age, and he continues to write and record with friends at Dogfish Bay Studios today.
